Duties:  Establish, maintain and enhance the school counseling program to address academic achievement, career planning and social/emotional development using the ASCA School Counselor Professional  Standards, & Competencies.   Organize and manage state and national programs in each school to include, but not limited to students to include, but not limited to, class guidance lessons, individual solution-focused/skill-based counseling sessions, IGP development, and immediate response to crisis situations.   Qualifications: Must have a Master's Degree and Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Guidance-Elementary or Secondary or Associate Guidance - Secondary or Secondary Advance; and two years of experience teaching or counseling.  Must have knowledge of the communication and cultural issues related to serving sensory impaired individuals.
