Duties: Implement and refine district approved curriculum and effective instructional strategies to meet the educational needs of students in small groups and individually. Ensure research-based reading programs are implemented with fidelity. Systematically gather, analyze, and use data to measure student progress; guide and differentiate instruction; and provide timely feedback. Use technology effectively to enhance student learning and to manage the classroom. Regularly assess and monitor student performance and achievement in the area of reading. Prioritize instructional time to maximize growth and monitor student performance and achievement. Collaborate with classroom teachers regarding the reading strengths and needs of individual students in order to improve student reading performance and achievement across curricular content areas.
