Job Description

Green Charter Schools of the Lowcountry offers free public education at the quality of a private school. We are a STEM-based, K5-6th grades school that has smaller teacher to student ratios and an individualized instructional approach. We are looking for educators who will provide a great educational experience for our students grades Kindergarten through 6th.

Teacher Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to student learning, growth, and advancement.
  • Exhibits academic competence in subject area(s),follows curriculum guidelines provided by the school
  • Understands and embodies the philosophy of GREEN Charter schools
  • Participate in professional development provided by the school
  • Work well within teams and collaborate effectively with other teachers to increase student performance
  • Create differentiated and personalized learning goals that are aligned with instructional goals and can engage students in high level cognitive activity
  • Serve as a role model for students and fellow teachers -Utilize an individualized learning approach for students
  • Incorporate STEM into everyday curriculum -Create a safe and nurturing environment for every child
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for every child

Education & Licensing:

  • Teacher's license (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field(required)
  • Masters in Education or a related field (preferred)

Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Google platforms (drive, sheets, slides, etc.)
  • Recent teaching experience (preferred)

Additional Information

Work Hours: this job is a Monday through Friday position where teachers are required to work from          7:30 am- 4pm.
