Middle School Math Teacher

Overview: Bettis Preparatory Leadership Academy seeks qualified candidates to fill a Middle School Math Teacher position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in mathematics education, foster a love for learning, and create an engaging, student-centered environment that aligns with the academy's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach math courses to middle school students (grades 6 -8) using i-READY curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state and school standards.
• Use data-driven methods to assess and improve student performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field (master's preferred).
• Valid SC teaching certification in math for middle school grades.
• Experience in a middle school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
