Special Education Teacher

Midlands STEM is a tuition-free, 4K-12 public charter school in the heart of Winnsboro, SC. We currently have one class per grade level and just over 300 students and 20% special needs population. This allows our teachers opportunities for more individualized hands-on, rigorous learning experiences. Our shared leadership model encourages all faculty and staff to have ownership in the decision-making and systems management of the school. We have created a dynamic, team oriented, culture where all are appreciated and accountable for the overall success of the school.  Currently, we are seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  The Special Education Teacher will be required to teach resource classes to students, assist with developing IEP’s and Reevaluations for these students, and keep compliance deadlines with the district.
