Duties: Conducts a comprehensive education program to include: assertive discipline in and out of the classroom, developing and utilizing teaching methods based on individual and/or group needs based on IEPs. Plans, prepares and implements Computer Technology/STEM for students served. Maintains required documentation to include student attendance, progress, difficulties, needs, etc. Meets with parents to discuss students to discuss student's needs, program and progress. Provides individualized computer technology and STEM instruction to assist students in development of goals to meet transition and employment requirements.
Qualifications: Must posses a SC Teacher's License in Business/Computer Technology/STEM; or other approved test as determined by the SC Department of Education that meets the requirements of NCLB; and experience working with children in an educational setting and/or behavior management program with deaf/hearing impaired students. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement.
