Fine Arts Preparatory School holds high standards for professionalism and scholarship. The Nurse/Healthcare Technician provides healthcare for all stakeholders at Fine Arts Preparatory School (Students, Staff, Parents) and handles the daily health issues that occur. The school nurse is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school health services that: maximize the quality of in-class time by reducing the incidence of health-related absenteeism, eliminating or minimizing health problems that impair learning, and achieving the highest degree of independent functioning possible. Provide management of a comprehensive school health program by assessing, planning/coordinating, implementing, and evaluating school health services. The Nurse/Healthcare Technician assists in meeting the health needs of stakeholders according to school policies and within the guidelines of the SC Board of Nursing. This role requires outstanding customer service, enthusiasm, communication and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and self-motivation. Some evening and weekend duties may be required.

The University has created a separate entity, the Limestone Charter Association (LCA), to oversee daily operations of its charter schools, but will be an integral part of the Association.
The mission of LCA is to serve as the cornerstone of charter school authorizing in South Carolina and to facilitate a positive, educational environment that fosters school autonomy through support and oversight of its member schools. LCA believes it is an authorizer’s role to support and monitor the school and it is the school’s role to teach the children and make decisions in the best interest of its students. LCA will ensure:
- To maintain school autonomy at the highest level of priority. Charter school boards must always be given the authority to govern their schools without interference.
- To maintain timely and effective communication with each school and to provide school-desired support through mentoring, training, and resources.
- To employ personnel who have done the work, been in the trenches, and understand the day-to-day activities of a charter school.
- To authorize high quality schools and to provide appropriate guidance prior to and after charter approval. LCA recognizes each charter school is unique and will support them accordingly.
