Duties: Provides direct and indirect Speech Therapy Services as indicated on student IEP's and monitors student progress. Evaluates students to determine need for Speech/Language services, completes written evaluation report, and develop IEP's as appropriate. Writes progress reports and summaries of treatment for Medicaid and ensures all documentation is complete in a timely manner. Attends IEP meetings as required.
Qualifications: Requires Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Speech-Language Therapy; a Master's Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology (Communication Disorders); ASHA (American Speech Hearing Association) certification preferred. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement.
