Education and Experience: A valid teaching certificate, as well as previous teaching experience (important for establishing their credibility as a leader). Minimum of five years ' successful classroom teaching experiences. GENERAL SUMMARY The Assistant Principal of Operations is responsible for the direction and supervision of all operational functions at the assigned at Estill High School. Specific duties include assisting the principal in managing facility use, maintenance, safety and transportation; planning and coordinating school functions and projects (including athletics and activities); monitoring and resolving student discipline problems; supervising employees; attending various meetings and conferences with other district employees and parents. Reports to the Building Principal. Education and Experience: Master's degree or higher with at least five years of experience as a classroom teacher and at least two years of experience in public school administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must possess a valid S.C. teaching credential in the area of elementary principal or supervisor.
