Lexington School District Two serves nearly 8,800 students who live in the communities of West Columbia, Cayce, Pine Ridge, South Congaree and Springdale. Our district offers the warmth of small-town living just steps from the state’s capital city and the University of South Carolina, with a variety of living options, from riverfront apartments and condominiums to single-family homes and neighborhoods. The district includes six elementary schools, four middle schools, two high schools, a state-of-the-art Innovation Center, alternative school, and adult education program.
A nearly completed $225 million construction plan has produced three new schools, new athletic facilities as well as upgrades to the district’s other schools. A new 1,550-seat performing arts center is currently under construction, expected to open in early 2024. - Lexington Two is committed to recruiting, retaining and developing the best teachers and employees.
