GENERAL SUMMARY
Serves as a communication specialist who works with both general education and special education population with language handicaps, articulation deficits, disfluencies and voice disorders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
GENERAL
Demonstrates appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
Performs routine duties and tasks with little or no direct supervision.
Participates in extracurricular activities and/or serves on designated committees.
Demonstrates loyalty to the school, school system and administrators.
Performs other duties as assigned by the principal.
SPEECH CLINICIAN EXPECTATIONS
Serves as a resource to school and staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
