Colleton County School District is "preparing every child today for tomorrow" and is located in the “front porch of the Lowcountry.” Colleton County serves nearly 5,000 students in our early childhood center, five elementary schools, one middle school, one career center and one high school.
Colleton County is situated in the southeastern portion of the state of South Carolina about 40 miles from Charleston and 65 miles north of Savannah, Georgia. The county's 1049 square mile area is bordered by the beautiful Edisto and Combahee rivers which flow into St. Helena Sound.
