MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 18 credit hours in your discipline as well as industry experience and three (3) years of successful teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level. Strong background in exhibiting work. Knowledge of modern technology in an art studio. Experience teaching animation and managing a dedicated studio.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MFA in area of specialization. National and regional exhibition record in past five years. Demonstrated knowledge and interpersonal skills to work with public school students who have exceptional artistic potential and achievement, other arts and academic educators, and diverse constituencies and cultures. Experience teaching and administering summer art programs for middle/high school students. Experience with outreach and curriculum design for K-12 visual arts teachers and students.
