Position Requirements: ● Masters Degree in counselor education, school counseling, mental health counseling, social work, or related education field ○ SC Educator Certificate in School Counseling, or ability to obtain certification within time frame outlined by School Leader. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred. Possession of valid South Carolina certification for Guidance Counselor. Minimum three (3) years experience of successful teaching or counseling services, including secondary level advising and counseling and college level advising and counseling. Research, evaluate, and implement date-driven best practices. Effective communication skills.
