Virtus Academy of SC, a public charter school located in Florence, SC, seeks an individual with public school teaching experience to join the team of a fast-growing school of Kindergarten through 7th grade students with an approximate enrollment of 500 students in 2020-2021.  Virtus Academy will grow to serve Grades K - 12 adding one grade per year.  The school moved into a new 60,000 plus square foot facility in August 2020.  The school is sponsored by The Charter Institute at Erskine. Duties and responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels.  Their duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress.  Teachers must be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans and other duties as may be assigned.
