Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Facilitating the mastery of math standards through direct instruction, small group work, and innovative instructional strategies.
Being a part of the CCSMS teaching staff and developing opportunities for collaboration across departments.
Ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and assessment requirements.
Enthusiastically taking on other duties as assigned and proactively pitching in wherever needed to make each day run smoothly and safely.
Education, Experience, and Skills desired:
Bachelor’s Degree in subject area or related field.
Middle School, High School, or Elementary certification, or desire to complete necessary
Experience with middle school students.
Experience developing and motivating pre-teenagers with the belief that all scholars can learn and grow.
Creative problem solver with a sense healthy sense of humor and a resilient spirit.
Requirements:
Keep information confidential as required by law.
Afterschool meetings with some periodic evenings and weekends, as needed.
Background check as required by the State of South Carolina.
Salary: The Charleston Charter School for Math and Science pay scale is aligned with the local CCSD pay scale.
